If you want to visit a real Viennese pub, this is the place for you. I am absolutely thrilled with the inn. The guests and the boss are super friendly, you feel very comfortable. The goulash is absolutely amazing and there is an excellent nut schnapps.

Very hospitable and probably the best Gulyasch in Vienna is served there. There is a small non-smoking room, but you only experience the charm of a real Viennese bar with Karl and beautiful Franz in the dining room at the Budl.

We arrived here due to our desire to get our nose everywhere and leave the most tourist areas and marked on the maps.To eat goulash, very good and drink wine, beer. We a goulash with a glass of wine. The goulash is great and the wine .... Also.They do not speak English, we, barely, but they make themselves understoodA place to drop if you have time to eat.2 people, with two glasses of wine per person and coffee € 25

People extra nice there, a bar for locals that is like a house for everybody, amazing gulash and beer, we ordered two goulash, two half litter beers and two shoots for 31.5€ so good price for Vienna and everything worth it, the only thing is that people smoke inside that was not an issue for us, more than recommended.

This is not a guest house but an institution. If you want to breathe the air of real Vienna, this is the right address. And the little tip by the way .... one of the best goulash in Vienna can be eaten here.

A local gem in the 2. district. The owner only speaks German so be aware if you don't have the language skills. Food is great and the prices are not too expensive either.

It’s a working by class old mans pub with guys playing cards and smoking and drinking shots. They only offer one meal: Goulash and brats (hot dogs). The food is awesome!

You don't really want to write anything about this pub, for fear that hordes of tourists might discover it. Wiener Schmäh is at home here. I always have to think about the goulash anyway.

Must love this. A real neighborhood pub. You are not easily absorbed. The atmosphere is phenomenal. If you visit this pub you will be put back in the last century.
